Position Summary:
BDR Engineer provides technical support to different industries. Individuals should have a technically strong, team-oriented approach to support Empist Backup solutions. Troubleshooting and communication skills must be excellent. Dependability and consistency is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain Backup systems (Veeam, Datto, Acronis, Azure, etc)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Respond to user restore requests and work with them until resolution and in a timely manner
Proactive maintenance and continuous operations support of backup systems.
Implementation and support of backup infrastructure.
Requirements:
2-5 years proven experience in systems administration and troubleshooting of operating systems, software and hardware
Fluency in English language (written and verbal)
Must have positive customer service attitude
Preferred:
Experience in supporting VMware, Hyper-V environments
Experience in backup platforms (Veeam, Datto, etc)
Microsoft Server familiarity
Basic networking skills
